Wendy Rubin is an award-winning film director, the creator of the most syndicated College radio show and the founder of joe’s production & grille, inc. She is a world-class photographer, having her first solo New York City show at the age of 21. Her series of Mali, West Africa photographs reside in collections all over the world.

She has a long history in the world of music photography, highlights include early photographs of Sheryl Crow and a billboard of MegaDeth in Times Square. Wendy created and produced the sold out success "African Light," a theatrical, multi-media production involving 25 artists: African and jazz dancers, drummers, story telling, photography and an original music score. She produced/directed the television pilots "Dead Air" and "Radiofree TV." Wendy was part of the founding crew of the Slamdance Film Festival and spent many years volunteering at the Telluride Film Festival before starting her current Burning Man photo project.

In 1992, Wendy founded joe's production & grille, inc., a music company which went on to introduce the first online independent CD store in 1996 and create the most syndicated show in college radio, joe's Blue Plate Special, which was honored by a Crystal Communicator Award. She has spoken on music panels across the country, including AFIM and CMJ.

Her directorial music video debut was an unprecedented success, earning almost a dozen awards and she recently won a contest by Converse and has a commercial airing on BET, MTV, FUSE, ESPN, E!, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, TBS, WB and Spike TV.
